Elder Care Management
We are able to help you help your loved ones.
Our elder care managers are experts who specialize in geriatrics, in this role they act as a sort of "professional relative" who can help you and your family to identify needs and find ways to meet your needs. These specially trained professionals can help find resources to make your daily life easier. They will work with you to form a long-term care plan and find the services you need.
Elder care managers can be especially helpful when family members live far apart. If asked, they will check in with you from time to time to make sure your needs haven't changed. The cost of an initial evaluation varies, and services are billed hourly or flat fee depending on the services planned. Most insurance plans don't cover these costs, but costs can be used as Medicaid spend down. All of our team members have vast experience and extensive background checks are completed on all our team members.
What are some of the tasks that Elder Care Managers Do?
Elder care managers might offer a useful service to help family members stay in touch. They help families discuss difficult topics and complex issues among family members, make home visits and suggest needed services, address emotional concerns, evaluate in-home care needs, help select care personnel, help coordinate medical services and accompany to medical appointments, evaluate other living arrangements, provide caregiver stress relief and/ or respite services.
